i smell totally herbal...
and not in a particularly good or happy fun way. i have lavender and tea tree essential oils slathered all over this nasty ingrown hair type thing that formed between my boob and my armpit... worst place ever to have anything painful. i also have those oils on my face in this spot in front of my ear that keeps getting a pimple and making the lymph node there swell up. so yeah... i am also wearing vanilla bean lipgloss from my favorite herbal place. i will soon also be putting on my own whipped shea butter featuring nettle-infused olive oil, lavender essential oil, and vanilla fragarance oil.
and whats this all supposed to do?
tea tree oil is anti-viral and tends to dry up infections real well. it worked well on my gigantic spider bite and also helps slough off dead skin. lavender oil promotes healing and relaxation (see: masses of lavender products for babies) and smells nicer than tea tree. (mom uses a mixture of these two oils on cold sores as well) the lip balm does what regular lip balm does, but its all natural. the whipped shea butter is my hand cream. the nettle in the olive oil helps to prevent eczema which i get along with dry skin and have successfully prevented for a while now. the lavender in it helps heal all the little cracks in the skin and the vanilla helps it smell good. the shea butter does the moisturizing.
don't think this is all just quack, i totally swear by it. i haven't had eczema on my hands since i started using my shea butter mixture at all!

ps. you can use like 5 drops of tea tree oil in a spray bottle of water to spray doorknobs and phones and stuff to stop them from getting all germy. they used to use it in sick rooms all the time back in the day!

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
5. Don't search around and look for the coolest book you can find. Do what's actually next to you.

"The she'pan stared at him and considered that in silence."

currently i'm taking a break from my hell week studies. i should probably attempt to get 4-5 hours of sleep starting now but its just not going to work when i need to be waking up. also i am not that tired.

i said it once tonight, i'll say it again. boys are stupid, hell, men are stupid because they never stop being boys. its not really important on the circumstances as to why i need to point this out, but i do think that it is odd. for alot of my life i've had more male friends than female, so it seems interesting that at this pivotal point in my life (college), i've become fed up with them and have pretty much reduced contact with them to as much as i can stand. perhaps this is how the concept of marriage came about. women needed to attach themselves to the one man they could stand and allow him to be jealous to scare away the annoying ones. of course, this is a rather pessimistic view.... but you know...

anyways, i'll have to say that this doesn't apply to men i knew before coming to college (simdaddy!). and certainly doesn't apply to christopher, he's my 'one man i can stand', most of the time anyways :P

lindsey and i are going to see saw on thursday. 7:20 pm, woo.

i want my mommy. can't wait till thanksgiving break.

so i was listening to kure and neal and rezza were doing talkchat. i got super nostalgic. its too bad that i was too messed up to stay friends with rezza. i don't know if he would want to talk to me now. he used to play 50 million questions with me over irc, that was fun.
on a slightly different note, lindsey tells me neal and her broke up and then he did something super dumbass. that sucks. lindsey said we could like hang out sometime too. she also needs a roomate but i'm pretty much locked into frederiksen and i only have two semesters left before i graduate. speaking of that, i didn't even know the lindsey was a graduate student now! i'm so out of touch with my friends.

it makes me worry that i won't have anybody to be bridesmaids at my wedding. i know thats not like a huge deal but it just kind of makes me feel lonely.

what really peaves me off sometimes is when people won't make an exception for a really good reason to a rule that they created just because it would weaken the rule or something...

oh joy, today was neat. ok, first i actually got a decent amount of sleep since chris went out to see the bourne supremacy so i just went to bed. then during parasitology we got our tests back and i was feeling pretty crappy with a 31.5/50 but then he said that was like a B- on the curve because people sucked it up on the test and i was well above the average. that made me feel quite a bit better! then we got our tests back in intro to catholocism and i got a 91/100! A- BABY!!! that ruled because i worked really hard for that test and he gave us the questions ahead of time. It also rocks because i beat most of the christian fundamentalist bastards who are in the class and try to over analyze everything and ask super boring questions that the instructor has to explain for 10 minutes. EAT IT.

in other news... i have 26 credits left if i keep doing well this semester. 2 sem. left at 13cr/sem. next semester i have scheduled all of the classes guaranteed to trip me up (15 cr.) so my last semester can be completely electives and i won't be dependent on what is available. i had to schedule the worst class ever, zool 355, so to make up for that i took another religion class (islam! ...instead of buddhism because it had some sort of instructor permission...) and english 304 (creative writing fiction!) which i've been told is super fun. the reason this is important is because 355 lab requires you to write like 20 page lab reports. also because of this i left all of tuesday open in my schedule *fingercross* to work on the lab report. i'm also taking zool 433 & lab. its developmental biology and the lab is only one credit so i don't plan on writing too much for it.

gah, i also forgot some other stuff from my day. i picked up a betta from 304 lab from our aggression experiments but he was too aggressive for my poor new honey gouramis, flotsam & jetsam, so i had to put him in a seperate jar. i also named the betta ligam. also, the 3rd invader zim dvd volume arrived today with the fear and loathing in las vegas book. and i got my lavender essential oil from prairieland and finally straightened out that only the travel candle i got was lost in the mail. though i still have to wait like 10 days for it to get sent back. i also had a pokey pocket from gumby's pizza with tomato, black olive, and mushroom. it was much tasty.

i am hyper because i took herbal energizer but it didn't kick in till i was done studying. i hope it doesn't keep me up...

ps. i copied this from my diaryland but i ran out of things to talk about....

whee, i got a simple layout going for both this and my crazylife. anyways, you're probably wondering what an edun, dusei, and she'pan is. also the name melein. i took all these from The Faded Sun trilogy by C.J. Cherryh. i read the books back when i was in middle or highschool. i can't really remember, but i think they are really good. anyways, its kind of about this dying alien race called the mri. an edun is kind of like a temple that they live in, a she'pan is like a celibate mother-priest, a dusei is a big dog-like creature that befriends the warrior caste, and in the book, melein is one of the last mri on the planet kesrith and she becomes the she'pan and then a bunch of other stuff happens and then they travel between worlds and stuff. you have to read it if you like sci-fi stuff.

not much is going on with me lately besides school. i really need to stop skipping classes because i can't make myself get up. at least the classes where they take attendence...

i had 3 cups of coffee... the first cup had a half shot of rum in it, yummy. but now i really have to pee.
*pee break*
i'm working on a few crafty projects. the one i've gotten the most done with is christmas cookies. i'm making at least two different kinds of international cookies to give away for christmas. i bought a ton of different big glass containers at hobby lobby to give them out in and i've test-run two of them with people. i'm not sure if i'll have a 3rd kind yet.
my second project is that i cleaned and sealed a raccoon skull. i kind of want to put some sort of pattern on it and maybe put it out for halloween. like a tribal pattern or something? i dunno, but its sealed now.
the third project i haven't really started on at all. i am going to make stuff from bandanas. i have a sewing machine that i hauled up here, but it works kinda crappy, so i figured it would be good to use bandanas since they are thin. i bought a book of stuff to make with bandanas but i didn't really think i needed 50 tube tops. they did have a good idea for a wrap to go over you shoulders so i came up with the idea of making a poncho. we'll see how it goes...

now i have to invent some dinner for myself...
